snow day

well at first i was upset about the snow because i thought it was going to mess up my plans for the day and i was not happy about it. but i got to do what i had planned and now i want it to snow like it has never snowed before. enev though we only have 3 snow days this year i wouldnt mind having one tomorrow or at least a 2 hour delay.  but knowing our school we will be in bright and early while cars and buses slide all over the road.  due to the snow i have seen many car accidents and to be honest i am very scared to drive in the snow so i think i will hang my keys up for awhile bacause i have been in some pretty bad crashes and a hugh fear of mine is crashing and with weather i just dont feel like i can do it.  well ill work on my fear and hopefully gahanna works on this 2 hour delay.

this weekend

this weekend was very fun and im very sad its over.  friday i went to the first basketball game of the year and watched as we blew mifflin out which was very funny to watch.  then saturday i turned 18 and also went to work the whole day which kind of sucked but i like my job so it was fun.  then sunday i got to skip church and sleep in and i went out to eat with my family.  i got a lot of cool stuff and of course a lot of money. well im sad the weekends is over but i hope these next two weeks go by fast because christmas break is really calling my name.

the hero that never was

After a long day at school and fighting crime Kevin hangs his cape up to never been worn again. Kevin was an average boy growing up in the busy streets of new york city and until his 14th birthday no one knew he was any different than the other boys who run up and down the street.  the day of his 14th birthday went almost as planned. he took cupcakes to school and pinned a dollar to his shirt. when he got home some friends and family came over for cake and ice cream when Kevin simply tried to blow the candles out on his cake and flipped the table over with a single blow.  in a rush to help clean up Kevin held the table by the leg and the next thing he knew the table flew up into the wall and the plaster fell down little by little.  from that day on Kevin was always getting called away for a bank robbery or a fire that blazed out of control.  every time he flew to fight some crime or help keep the city from ruins he would see the other boys playing football and baseball in the street and wondered what it was like to play and laugh until the street lights came on and couldn't help but imagine what it was like to do homework and go to the movies.  whenever Kevin got a moment to himself he would read a comic book or the funnies the the Sunday paper to keep his spirits up.  after reading a comic book his mother picked up for him Kevin read a story the had a evil villain with a beautiful suit and had fear and respect and Kevin knew form that point on that he wanted to follow in this character's footsteps.  so after a long day at school and fighting crime Kevin hangs his cape up to never been worn again.  instead he put on his new outfit he created that looked like the comic book villain, strapped up his boots and flew off to see what evil deed could be done.  at first he was nervous about changing sides and couldn't help but think he had made a bad choice and kept telling himself at any minute he would turn around, put on his old cape, and do what he had always done.  Kevin finally flew over an elderly lady who had a dark brown purse lightly hanging off her shoulder and without a second thought he flew down, grabbed it, and flew off.  when he flew off an odd feeling of fear, regret, and delight filled Kevin and he new he had made the right choice.  when Kevin woke up the next day he felt a little more bold and knew he had to do something to get the public's attention.  after about an hour of thinking he finally had what he thought was the best idea he had in awhile.  Kevin made a quick stop to the hardware store and the gas station and flew to the high street elementary school to secure his new identity.  without thinking twice Kevin poured gas on the school and quickly lite several matches and watched his plan come together.  Kevin with still a little ounce of good in his heart waited until after school when he thought everyone was out to go along with his plan and flew off smiling from ear to ear.  when he got home and changed out of his evil clothes he went down to the living room to meet his parents who were busy crying and holding each other.  when he asked his parents what the problem was he found out that his little sister and her best friend were at an after school study session when a huge fire broke out killing the two girls and a few teachers.  Kevin fell to his knees and began to cry while anger and sadness filled his heart.  that night Kevin put his evil suit in the trash and knew he could never admit what he had done and no matter how hard he tried he just couldn't forgive himself.  after thinking about it all night and not sleeping at all Kevin packed a bag wrote a detailed note to his parents telling everything that happened the night before and flew off never to be heard from or seen again.

thanksgiving break

i am sooooooooo excited to be getting out of school and to eat all of the great food that will be prepared.  also i am happy to see my family that i havent seen in a very long time. over the break me and my family might be going to chicago and i am very happy because i have never been. so with the nice break from school, the food, and going to a new city i am happy because my birthday is coming up and is less than two weeks away. i have no clue what i am going to do for it, but i do now that i have to work and on saturdays i work from 12-6 which is almost the whole day. well that is all for this week i am off to write my 4 page paper that is due tomorrow or play black ops lol lets hope i chose the right thing becasue at this point i really dont now which one i will do.

my weekend

this weekend was not that great at all. i didnt get to sleep in because saturday i had to do the food drive for government at 7. then i had to go right to work until 6 at night. im not feeling this week coming up at all because i think it is going to cold and i just feel like i am going to have a lot of school work to do. however i am kind of happy to say that my blog was on time this week. well goodbye until next week.

i know its really late but this is my blog for the week.  i dont have anything to write about, but i can finally say i am don with the bookj for class and that was late also. man senioritous is noo joke. well im sure there is some homework i need to catch up on so stay tuned untill next week.

im so tired

it seems to me that everyday no matter what i do i am always tired.  a lot of people say that i am to young or i dont do enough to be tired. well i think teens do a lot of things to make them sleepy like work, i had to work saturday from 12 to 5 and was very busy doing many things which tired me out.  and then they say that i am to young to be tired all the time which is dumb because if sleep was based on age then why do babies sleep so much.  but it is okay because i have come to the conclusion that i will be always tired and i have learned to just except it and try to get as much sleep as i can and continue to live my life.

This I Believe

            Everyday when I wake up I try my best to thank God for another day and go into the day with a positive attitude.  The reason I try to start my day off on such a great note is because I am truly greatful to be awake and here to see another day.  These days with violence and sickness and mother nature causing problems and death so often it is amazing to still be here day in and day out. I would consider myself a very positive person which is why I believe life is a gift and it should be charished at all times.  

            Being the son of a mortician it is extremely common for me to hear about a family who has lost a loved one or a young life that got cut short due to a tragic event that the person had little or no control of.  I think it is important to take care of the life we are given because we only have one chance and why waste it on something dumb and pointless.  There are many ways to take care of ourselves which could include eating right, exercising, staying mentaly sharp, and staying away from drugs and alcohol.  Also it is crucial that we live a life that we are proud of and a life without regret.

            Not only should we life a healthy and long life, but we should be successful and strive for the best.  This means that we shouldn’t be afraid to dream and set goals and also prioritize.  One thing in life that I feel is important to have is a happy and successful life without regrets and doubts. For example, if you see someone you like then you should go up and talk to them or if your afraid of heights then go to a theme park and see what its like to be free from fear.  Also we are still young enough to mode our lives to be anything we want to be if we dream big.  Why settle for being a millionaire, why not shoot for a trillionaire or why become an astronanut when you could build a space station? If we look at the most successful people in todays society they are people who went out and followed their dreams no matter how crazy the may have seemed.  A famous quote that I found sums up a lot of what I am trying to say right now, the quote says “ You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough”.  This just goes to show that although you live once a happy and successful person will be fine with that one chance.

            If a person can say that they seize every chance they get to do something great and are successful and happy then that is someone who lives life to the fullest everyday.  i feel that it is good to take care of our life and appreciate it because there are many people much younger than us who where not so fortunate as us in this room. With all of this in mind I would encourage you all to dream big, seize every chance that presents itself, be greatful for the life you have, and never give up so that you can live a life worth living.

dear Ohio State fans

this blog goes out to all the happy over excited buckeye fans who every week lie to themselves by thinking osu really deserves their #1 ranking. first off i want to say that i do like ohio state but im realistic when it comes to their schedule and the level of diffuculty week in and week out.  first of all ohio state played a very overrated miami team that got man handled by florida state and florida state is not a team that people fear. with teams like ohio, marshall, eastern mich., miami, illinois, and indiana ohio state has no choice but go undefeaded this year.  now everyone wants to get hype because alabama lost lets be honest osu wouldnt last past week 5 in the S.E.C. honestly tell me osu could take auburn, arkansas, florida, alabama, south carolina, ole miss, georgia, and lsu and go undefeaded. see look you cant do it. if we can be real about this ucla had a much harder schedule than osu i mean like its not even close.  while watching this game vs wisconsin its painfully obvious that osu is not ready for a team thats close to good.  now that i think about it it would be better now for osu to lose because if they go to the national title game they would get smacked by oregon, boise state, tcu, oklahoma, auburn, well lets just make it easy and say everyone in the top ten is a team osu needs to worry about if they go to the title game. in closing i would like all the die-hard o state fans to seriously look at their team and honestly say we deserve this and we are the best team in the country. if you can do this honestly then you dont know anything and you are in for a rude surprise in january.

at the start of the year i didnt really think these blogs were that bad and i thought well how hard could this be. a couple weeks later i find myself forgetting responses and barely keeping up with the bolg post.  not only is it hard to remember but i never know what to talk about and 15 minutes is a long time when your just sitting there and could be doing something a lot more fun.  wewll this short week should be great and im looking forward to our days off also.  well thats all for this week even though it wasnt 15 minutes worth.

my weekend coming up.

this weekend was really fun but next weekend is really what im looking forward to.  if you dont know nba 2k11 comes out tuesday and i will be getting it as soon as school is out.  this years game has the greatest player ever on it which is a first and i am very excited for and you can play as him and complete challenges as mj himself.  this weekend me and some of my friends are having a tourament and its going to be very intense.  other than playing this game i will be working on friday and saturday which itsnt that bad because i really like my job.  in case you are wondering i work at the ymca. so i hope this week goes fast so this weekend comes fast.

random post

well this week i really sat for 10 minutes and came up with nothing to say so after every sentence i will change the subject so no one gets tired of my post.  i really liked the weather today and i hope its like this all week because i am tired of the heat we had last week.  after this i have government homework that i put off untill now and i just want to take sometime and say how much i hate that class.  my favorite team the dallas cowboys finally got a win against in state rivals the houston texans.  also my favorite team the texas longhorns recieved their first lost against the weak ucla bruins and i am still upset about it.  this weekend went by very fast and on saturday i pre-ordered nba 2k11 which comes out on october 5th and i cant wait.  i really hope this week goes by fast and i hope this school years goes by fast to because it feels like we have been in school for 6 months and its not even october yet.  well i think im done with this now off to this dumb government homework and i hope you liked my post.

Michael Vick is back

After watching some of the eagles game last week and the game today it is obvious that Michael Vick is back to the game changer he once was.  In his first start since 2006 Michael Vick had a pro bowl performance putting up 21 of 34 completions to nine different players, 284 yards with two touchdowns, and 37 rushing yards and best of all no turnovers.  Not only did he have very good numbers for not starting in 4 years but he lead his team to a crucial win over the detroit lions after a week one lost.  Vick, who started due to the injury of current starter Kevin Kolb is making his case to head coach Andy Reid on why he should be the man to replace Donovan Mcnabb.  Although Kolb is still the starter it is only a matter of time untill Vick is handed the coveted job of a starting quarterback in the nfl.  If you ask me it would be a crime to start Kolb over a still productive and very athletic Vick given his early succes.  This is why i feel Michael Vick is back.

my bestfriend

This post is about my bestfriend in the whole entire world Lindsey Brooke White.  She is 5' 2'' and on wednesday Septemeber 15th she will be 18 years old.  I met Lindsey when we were both small scared freshman in our science class.  Lindsey currently works at kroger and has been doing so for almost two years and hates it a lot.  Lindsey is my bestfriend because she is kind, funny, honest, and very smart and im glad i get to see her everyday.  Not only is she a great person, but her parents are great people also and make me laugh every time i see them.  Lindsey has two dogs named Carson and a very evil dog named Cupcake. Lindsey is my friend, as well as an aunt to the newly born Laken Davis Bower who she loves very much.  Lindsey is a good friend and an even better person and she positivly influences the lives she is involved in.  She is also a good student and is going to college to become a nurse which goes to show how helpful and caring she is.  She is a great person and the sky is the limit for her future.  I am very glad to say that Lindsey White is one of my closest friends and you should get to know her too.
